About these terms
These terms govern your use of ScoreSpan, an app for tracking board game scores, provided by Cyberspace Design ("we", "us", "our"). By using ScoreSpan, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Your account
You need an account to use most ScoreSpan features. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for any activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
Subscriptions and payments
ScoreSpan offers an optional premium subscription with additional features such as cloud sync and advanced statistics. Subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store and managed in your Apple ID settings — Apple's standard subscription terms apply. You can cancel at any time through your Apple ID. Refunds are handled by Apple under their own policies.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service in any unlawful way
- Attempt to disrupt, hack, or reverse-engineer the service
- Harass other users through friend connections or shared content
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the service
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
Content you create
You retain ownership of any content you create within ScoreSpan — game records, player names, notes, and so on. You grant us a limited licence to store, transmit, and display this content for the purpose of providing the service to you.
Our rights
ScoreSpan, including its design, branding, illustrations and software, is owned by Cyberspace Design. Wingspan, Wyrmspan and Finspan are trademarks of their respective owners — ScoreSpan is an independent companion app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
Service availability and changes
We provide ScoreSpan on an "as is" basis. We work hard to keep the service running smoothly, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update, change, or remove features at any time as the app evolves.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of ScoreSpan is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This doesn't limit liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that can't be limited by law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
Termination
You can stop using ScoreSpan at any time by deleting your account from within the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or that are used in a way that harms other users or the service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, unless local consumer protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in your own country.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know within the app or by email. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version.
